In order to save the environment and reduce the number of printed materials in the room, we have chosen to have a digital version of our hotel information.

Adapter

Universal adapters are available to borrow at the reception.

Baggage

A luggage room is available at the reception for you to use free of charge around the clock. The room is locked but unguarded. We do not take responsibility for the luggage.

Breakfast

Breakfast buffet is served every day between 07:00-10:00 in the Winter restaurant.

Book Library

Books to borrow can be found on the 2nd floor in The Library.

Bus/Flight

The reception will be happy to assist you with timetables.

Bathrobes

Available in the room's wardrobe. You are welcome to borrow these during your stay but please leave them in the room upon check-out. A missing bathrobe will incur a charge of 500SEK.

Checkout

You have the room until 10:00 when you are attending a conference. Check-out time for other guests is at 11:00. If you wish to stay longer, please contact the hotel reception to see if we can offer a later check-out time. If you are spending the day on the mountain, you are welcome to use the changing rooms in the realaxation area to change before departure.

Credit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Eurocard, Maestro, MasterCard, and VISA.

Dogs

The hotel is pet-friendly, and your dog is welcome in all our public areas as long as they are kept on the floor.

Entrance Doors

If the doors to the hotel are locked, use your key card on the black box to the right of the entrance. There is also an entrance phone that you can use to call the reception.

Extra Services

Contact the reception if you would like extra services such as sewing service, shoe polishing, ironing service, shoe shine accessories, sewing kit and washing laundry.

Emergency

Contact the reception, or dial 0 for an external line and 112 for SOS emergency.

Fire

The hotel is equipped with a central fire alarm that is directly connected to the fire department. Smoke detectors are available in each room. Please refer to the information board in your hotel room for evacuation routes, fire extinguishing equipment, and the assembly point in case of evacuation. The assembly point is our parking area. In case of misuse of the fire alarm, a fee of 5000SEK will be charged to the responsible person. Guardian is responsibal for minors. Please contact the hotel reception for more information regarding safety procedures.

Gym

The gym is open every day between 08:00-22:00.

Hotel Shop

In our hotel shop, you can buy items such as candy, chips, soda, mineral water, and hygiene products. If you have forgotten something, a small selection of complimentary toiletries such as toothbrush/toothpaste and shower caps are available at the hotel reception. A limited range of drinks is served in the reception bar. We also sell branded hats and sweaters.

Hairdryer

Hairdryers is available in the hotel rooms.

Iron & Ironing Board

Available in all rooms.

Ice/Water

Our cold tap water is perfectly drinkable. Ice is available in the bar.

Lost and Found

Lost items are kept for three months. Hygiene products, underwear, food, and drinks are not stored.

Lounge Bar

Winter Lounge Bar is open daily between 11:30 AM and 11:00 PM. Here, we serve lunch and snacks, along with a selection of 140 different gin brands.

Mini-Bar

The mini-bar is restocked daily and paid upon checkout. See a separate price list for details.

Mobile Chargers

Different models of mobile chargers are available for borrowing at the reception.

Mail Service

Outgoing mail can be left at the reception.

Parking

As our guest, you can park for free in the hotel's parking lot.

Restaurant Winter is open every day from 5:30 pm. To book a table or view the menu, please visit our website or contact the reception and we will assist you.

Room Service

When staying with us, you can order food and drinks to your hotel room for an additional fee of 95SEK. You can also order in our lounge bar and take food and drinks to your room at no extra cost.

Relaxation Area

Open from 9:00-21:00. Sauna and cold bath are free for hotel guests. Towels can be borrowed at the reception, where you also can purchase swimwear. The hot tub and sunbed can be booked and paid for at the reception.

Smoking

We are a non-smoking hotel. A sanitation fee of 2000SEK will be charged for any violation. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area outside the hotel entrance.

Ski Rental

As a guest at the hotel, you receive a 10% discount on ski rental at Kaisers Skidbod upon presentation of your key card.

Ski Boots

It´s not allowed to walk with ski boots in stairs and corridors. Slippers are available for borrowing in the room or at the reception.

Ski Lockers

Lockable ski lockers are available for each room. The key is available at the reception. Please return the key to the reception each time you use it to reduce the risk of losing it.

Shoe Shine

We have a shoe shining machine on the first floor, near the reception.

Sewing Kit

A sewing kit can be purchased at the reception.

Security

We take security very seriously, and our premium certification through Safehotels is clear evidence that we maintain the highest level of security. When leaving your room, make sure to lock the door. If you lose or accidentally lock your key card inside, please contact the hotel reception. Our staff is not allowed to enter your room, except for daily cleaning and scheduled maintenance, for security reasons. All rooms are equipped with a safety box.

Sälen Village

You can find a medical center, pharmacy, liquor store, pet store, clothing stores, grocery stores and souvenir shops in the village.

Towels & Bath Towels

If you are willing to use the towel for the next day, please hang it up. If you want a new towel, place the old one on the floor. Towels for the relaxation area are available to borrow at the reception, where also can purchase swimwear.

Taxi

The reception can assist you in booking a taxi and provide you with price information.

TV Channels

The hotel offers the following TV channels: SVT 1, SVT 2, TV3, TV4, channel 5, TV6, channel 7, SVT24/Kids channel, BBC World News, BBC News, TV8, TV10, TV12, and Kunskapskanalen.

Please inform the reception if you need a wake-up call or if you would like to borrow an alarm clock.
